Two Point Seven Facades Ltd provided the full turn-key package. We performed the design, manufacture and installation of aluminium louvres to plantroom ventilation.
Gateway retail park is situated on the former site for Zephry Cams Factory. The two-hectacre site had previously been derelict since the factory was decommissioned in 2002. The new-build retail park boasts a 300 space car-park and the occupants of the units The Range, ALDI, Costa, Card-Factor, Greggs and Subway are expected to invite up to 155 jobs to Lowestoft.
Two Point Seven Facades specified the use of our 100Z blade, aluminium louvre system, set to 120mm pitch, mounted onto our narrow section profile cut mullion system, the most efficient system for maximum airflow available.
There was a very specific air-flow requirements expected of the system, to provide adequate ventilation to the plant which occupied the room. Which meant we had to perform suitable calculations to determine a suitable free area required and what pitch, of the louvre, is required to provide the air-flow expected of the system.
To form part of the contract, we had been asked to also provide small louvre grilles to the neighboring Costa of the same site. We supplied our 50Z compact louvre grille, flange fitted to a structural opening. This louvre grille incorporated an insect mesh into the louvre whilst maintaining a free area of 45%.
