Summary

Two Point Seven Facades Ltd provided the full turn-key package.  We performed the design, manufacture and installation of aluminium brise soleil Louvres Canopy system, providing shading to the south elevation, reducing glare and passive solar heat gains.

Building Description

A much anticipated addition to Bingley, ideally placed on Main Street.  This new Lidl boasts a 1325m² shop floor area with an in-store bakery, long-style tills and dual packaging.  Lidl have a portfolio of 700 stores scattered across the UK, with this store generating 40 new jobs.

External Works

Two Point Seven Facades Ltd specified the use of our 145mm extruded aluminium elliptical aerofoil, set at 160mm pitch to provide adequate shading to the south elevation, glazed, curtain walling facade.  The brise soleil was installed in cassette format, connected to curtain walling using aluminium brackets.
